Hello, my name is Aqil Noorali. I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Astrophysics with a Minor in Mechanical Engineering at San Francisco State University. My path combines a strong foundation in physics with practical engineering skills, reflecting my interest in both scientific discovery and applied technology.
From a young age, I have been fascinated by mechanical systems and engines. I enjoy taking machines apart, understanding how their components interact, and applying that knowledge to new designs. Over time, this curiosity evolved into a passion for prototyping, designing, and electric vehicle (EV) technology.
At SFSU, I also run a small project workshop, where I collaborate with peers on hands-on engineering builds. This role has allowed me to refine both my technical expertise and leadership skills, as I guide others in design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
I have developed skills in wiring harness fabrication, CAD design, prototyping, and system integration, particularly in the context of EVs. My recent work includes prototyping e-bikes, working on electric motor control systems, and working with three-phase BLDC motors. Furthermore, I have gained extensive experience in battery pack design and assembly, focusing on both safety and performance optimization.
Over the years, I have completed a range of projects, including motorbikes, e-bikes, custom battery packs, and electric scooters. Each project has deepened my understanding of the intersection between physics and engineering while strengthening my hands-on problem-solving abilities.
